Fans to submit photos to create One-of-a-Kind Tour Art
(New York, NY) August 31st, 2011 - 3x Grammy Nominee and Godfather of Trance, Paul Oakenfold is bringing social networking online into the physical world with his new tour We Are Planet Perfecto. In a unique partnership with the Google+ the electronic icon will take submitted photos via his Official Google+ Profile https://plus.google.com/113899310637703974412 and have them incorporated into
tour posters and fliers making one of a kind promotional art.
“I wanted to interact with my fans on a personal level by having their pictures be a part of my tour. A physical tagging you might call it” says Paul Oakenfold, “So many years I have put my photos on posters and I wanted this to be about the people who attend my concerts not just about me. All races, religions, etc have come to my shows I want them represented as They Are Planet Perfecto.”
Joining Oakenfold on the tour will be select up-and-coming artists from his labels Perfecto & Perfecto Fluoro. The tour will kick off in Las Vegas with a celebration for the 3rd Anniversary of his wildly popular residency at Rain Nightclub in the Palms Resort and Casino. The tour will then go on to hit 20 cities including New York, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles.
